ABOUT

About RevMed & Dr. Daniel Moore

As physicians, our purpose is to care for our patients. Part of that purpose is removing obstacles to care. When the current healthcare system is so at odds with delivering patient care there is only one way to act.

Break Free

Sound like a radical manifesto? Right now you pay more and more every year, to an insurance company who pays your doctor. You also most likely pay a copay to actually see the doctor. Assuming that your plan hasn’t changed, and now you have to find a different doctor.

The insurance-provided doctor gets paid to see you, but is not paid to actually fix your problem. And, how can they fix your problem, when they will spend an average of only seven minutes with you.   You take a day off of work and sit in a waiting room for an hour, all to spend seven minutes talking to the doctor.

And if you have a question? Good luck getting in touch with them! In this era of texting, emailing and video chat at literally the touch of a button, you still have to make an office visit to talk to the doctor.

Why spend all day and pay more money on top of your outrageous insurance premiums to see a doctor for seven minutes? There is a better way! If you’re ready to break free, you can turn the tables and take control of your health care.

Dan Moore, M.D.

Physician

As a young man, Dan worked for a physician who was frustrated with obstacles and expense in primary care.  After learning first-hand how powerful a good doctor-patient relationship can be, Dan knew what he had to do.  More than a decade, two degrees, a marriage and a daughter later, Dr. Moore was ready to join the direct primary care revolution.

Dr. Dan has a Doctorate of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as a Master of Science in Biochemistry, also from VCU.

He trained in an unopposed residency at the Shenandoah Valley Family Medicine Residency Program in northwest Virginia and is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Additionally Dr. Dan has practiced for years in the Richmond area in primary and urgent care prior to starting RevMed in 2021.

Phuong Mach

Practice Manager and Mom

The role of partner to a physician is a hard one.  The role of a DPC partner is harder still.  Hardest of all is being a mom.  Phuong not only survives in her role, she thrives.  You may see her in the office, or hear her on the phone.  Her background includes the School of Allied Health at VCU/MCV.
